We will be departing from La Paz in the afternoon and beginning the scenic journey towards San Carlos. Enjoy the picturesque views of the Baja Peninsula as we drive along the coastal highway. The drive will be approximately 4 hours (270 km).

When. we arrive in San Carlos, we will check into the accommodation. We will savor a delectable dinner at one of the local restaurants. Afterward, settle into your accommodation for a restful night's sleep, preparing for the adventures that lie ahead.

After the incredible whale watching experience, we will have a quick bite before hitting the road.

Drive 480 km to San Ignacio: Embark on a scenic drive towards San Ignacio, a charming town nestled in the heart of Baja California Sur. Enjoy picturesque landscapes as we traverse through desert vistas and mountainous terrain, appreciating the natural beauty of the region.

When we arrive in San Ignacio, we will check into our accommodation, nestled amidst the tranquility of the town. Enjoy a peaceful night's sleep, rejuvenating yourself for the adventures that await on the following day.

We will be starting the day early with a drive from San Ignacio to Ojo de Liebre Lagoon, an enchanting location for a second day of whale watching (150 km drive). Upon arrival at the lagoon, we will join an informative session on the gray whale before embarking on a boat tour led by local captains, allowing you to observe the incredible gray whales up close and witness their awe-inspiring behaviors in their natural habitat.

Afternoon in Guerrero Negro: Explore the town's attractions and immerse yourself in its unique charm. Visit the Whale Interpretation Center to learn more about these magnificent creatures or take a guided tour of the salt evaporation ponds, witnessing the fascinating salt harvesting process.

Additionally, you can indulge in a delicious seafood lunch at one of the local restaurants, savoring regional flavors and specialties.

In the evening, we will settle into our accommodation in Guerrero Negro for a comfortable night's rest.

We will begin our day with another unforgettable whale watching experience in Ojo de Liebre. Board a boat and set out into the lagoon, where you'll have the opportunity to witness the majestic gray whales in their natural habitat once again. Marvel at their graceful movements and perhaps even encounter newborn whale calves and their mothers.

After concluding the whale watching adventure, bid farewell to Ojo de Liebre Lagoon and embark on a scenic 220 km drive to the charming town of Santa Rosalia. Enjoy the picturesque landscapes and rugged desert scenery as you make your way through Baja California.

Upon arrival in Santa Rosalia, we will check into an iconic local hotel, known for its historical significance and unique character. The beachfront hotel also has a restaurant, where we will have dinner and rest.

After breakfast, we will embark on a picturesque drive towards La Paz, covering approximately 550 km. As we hit the road, get ready for a day of breathtaking landscapes and captivating stops.

Bahia de Concepcion: One of the highlights of the drive is the renowned Bahia de Concepcion. We will pause at this enchanting bay known for its dazzling beauty. Admire the pristine turquoise waters, relax on the sandy beaches, or take a refreshing dip in the sea. Breathe in the serenity of this coastal paradise before continuing your journey.

As the day unfolds, we will arrive in La Paz in the evening, where our 5-day expedition concludes.
